DSi Input Character Limit Extender
With this bookmark, you are no longer limited to entering a maximum of 2000 characters.
Installing the bookmark
- Click this link: Character Limit Extender (the page will give an error)
- Add the error page to your bookmarks. Now start editing the bookmark.
- You can change the name to "Character Limit Extender"
- At the very start of the long URL, remove the http://home4dsi.com/, so that the URL starts with "javascript:"
Using the bookmark
If you are on a page where you having trouble with the 2000 character limit, open the bookmark.
Now every time you start editing a text input that has over 500 characters in it, the text will get divided into chunks of 500 characters. You can now individually edit one of those chunks up to 2000 characters. Once you press "Ok" (to stop editing the chunk), the chunks will get stitched back together and put back in the original text box.
In other words, ever time you run into the 2000 character limit, just click "Ok" and re-open the text input.
